The History of Daylight Savings Time (DST)
Daylight saving time 2018 will begin at 2:00 AM on Sunday, March 11th and ends at 2:00 AM on November 4th, 2018. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for these dates and set your clocks to spring forward in March!! and fall back in November!!

Daylight saving time (abbreviated DST), sometimes referred to as daylight savings time in the US, Canadian and Australian speech,[1][2] and known as summertime in some countries, is the practice of advancing clocks during summer months so that evening daylight lasts longer while sacrificing normal sunrise times. DST clock shifts sometimes complicate timekeeping and can disrupt travel, billing, record keeping, medical devices, heavy equipment,[6] and sleep patterns.[7] Computer software often adjusts clocks automatically, but policy changes by various jurisdictions of DST dates and timings may be confusing.[8]
