My story and history with Wine:
I was born and raised in Wine Country in Northern California. My great grandfather brought some of the first grapes over from Italy to Sonoma County where he had planted them in the late 1890’s. Wines have been in my family for generations and we have always loved wine. Since I was in my twenties I would try the wines but would always get a headache before I could finish a glass of wine. It was miserable as I tried on several different occasions to drink wines thinking this time would be different. But that was never the case and would get a raging headache each and every time.
I have worked at several different wineries over the years but still no luck with their wines either. Then in 2017, I found Direct Cellars and they have these fine wines from around the world that do not contain any sulfates or tannins. I learned that the sulfates and tannins in the wines are what causing my headaches. So I decided to give the wines from Direct Cellars a chance, and to my amazement, I have had not one single headache or hangover from any of the wines!! This was great news and I want to spread the word!
